Not being rude but this is a non-story. Indie games are not as technically demanding as a big budget game so we should expect to see them all run at 1080p 60fps even on an XB one.
We should wait for Adam Sessler to be moneyhatted and then let him tell us if it is good or not.
I can't wait to read his damning review of Killzone Shadow Fall where he criticises it for being 'a nothing to write about generic shooter' and his celebratory review for Ryse which he will say 'has the best graphics ever seen in a game' and 'the deepest most profound gameplay ever.'

Well said. The fanboy title of the article is click bait. The indie developer is basically saying that their game is not one that pushes the hardware so they haven't encountered such bottlenecks.
However when you have developers of triple-A games saying that they have Non Disclosure Agreements from talking about the spec differences then you know something suspicious is going on.

Mike. No one is saying that 1080p 60fps is a pre-requisite for a game to be good. There will be many next-gen games that are great without that performance. And there are many games that look fantastic but are boring to play. Graphics don't make a good game.

I love Halo and want to see more unique titles on the Xbox. But I'd really like to see Microsoft make their own original games with their own studios instead of money-hatting everything they hear will be hit.
